Often, that is a valid risk. But sometimes, you find the exception.
I did not hire these leaders just for the logos on their CVs. I hired them because they were tired of simply maintaining the status quo.
They were successful in the big machine, but they missed the engineering of a legacy. They wanted to be closer to the decision, the product, and the customer.
We look for a specific mindset. The executive who has the high-level strategy but still knows how to roll up their sleeves on a Monday morning.
