Mastery isn’t something you stumble into. It follows a cycle, and most people get stuck halfway through it.
It’s not about talent. It’s about sticking with the process long enough to level up. Here’s how the cycle works:
1. Attitude sets the tone Mindset comes first. Without it, nothing sticks. I’ve seen highly skilled people fall short simply because they gave up when things got uncomfortable.
2. Knowledge gives you direction There’s no shortage of information, but not all of it moves you forward. Learning the right things matters. Still, knowing is only part of it; doing is what counts.
3. Practice is where most give up This is the make-or-break stage. Most people don’t fail from lack of ability. They stop showing up. Progress comes from showing up when it’s boring, hard, or repetitive.
4. Skill is what shows up after consistency Suddenly, the hard stuff feels natural. You act with confidence, not hesitation. But this isn’t the finish line, it’s the start of your next level.
The real trap? Wanting the skill without going through the steps. That’s why most people stay stuck.
