Progress doesn’t move in a neat, upward line.
Some days feel fast and full of momentum. Others feel like you’re standing still or slipping back. But every step still counts.
Here are 3 reminders that have helped me stay on track:
1. A setback isn’t the end
What looks like a step back often brings the clarity or direction you didn’t know you needed. Keep moving.
2. Perfection slows you down
Waiting to get everything just right usually means not starting at all. Growth comes from action, not flawless plans.
3. Patience is something you practise
It’s not about waiting calmly. It’s about staying consistent, especially when progress feels invisible.
Next time you feel off-track, ask yourself:
“If I keep going, where could I be a year from now?”
That question has kept me going more times than I can count.
